And, together, we find a way to turn that potential into reality. **Role Summary** As a **Family Support Specialist**, you will be pivotal in supporting children, youth, and families facing life’s toughest challenges. Whether you provide hands-on case management, help to develop life skills, or provide emotional support, your work will directly impact the lives of those we serve. The hourly wage range for this role is $24.00 - $25.50. **Primary Responsibilities:** - Conducts regular in-home visits that are family-centered, strength-based, and directed at establishing a trusting relationship. - Completes the Family Resilience and Opportunities for Growth (FROG) Scale with parents (prenatally and/or immediately after the birth of their child) to determine risk and resiliency factors. - Regularly assesses the infants and children using the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ-3, ASQ-SE) to determine developmental progress and needs. - Assesses family needs, develops goals with parents and plans for the accomplishment of those goals in collaboration with the family. - Provides resources, referrals and information to families as appropriate and supports the families in accessing support services. **Education and Experience:** - Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate’s degree in a human service field (i.e., social work, sociology, psychology, early childhood education, child development, family studies) is preferred. - Experience working with or providing services to children and families required.
