The MDIOC provides mission‑essential system infrastructure and subject‑matter expertise in an adaptable environment that enables developers, testers, and operators to evolve, assess, and rapidly deliver capabilities supporting layered missile defense operations. As part of our Engineering Services Division, you will join a high‑performing team supporting the Missile Defense Agency in maintaining and advancing critical facility, infrastructure, and mission‑support systems. This role requires deep technical leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and proactive engagement with mission partners across MDA and joint organizations. This position will require occasional support outside normal working hours (including nights or weekends) for maintenance activities, power cycles, system outages, or emergency facility events. While flexibility is required, the expectation remains an average 40‑hour workweek. **Responsibilities** The Facility Mission Engineer will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for providing engineering oversight, strategic guidance, and mission‑critical systems support.
