Facility Attendant

Under direct supervision, the Facility Attendant supports daily operations of the Cobre Valley Recreation Center by providing high-quality customer service, monitoring facility safety, assisting with programming, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Duties/Responsibilities: - Maintain positive customer service in assigned areas. - Serve as front desk and fitness room attendant. - Handle registration, reservations, membership services, and cash handling. - Assist in implementation of recreation programs and activities. - Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness. - Provide supervision and safety oversight in assigned areas. - Supervise children within designated spaces. - Support marketing initiatives for the CVRC. - Assist with cleaning and indoor/outdoor upkeep. - Assist with special events and room reservations set up and tear down. - Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: - Ability to understand and apply verbal and written instructions in English. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally high-stress environment. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. - Ability to use basic computer systems for operations and reporting. - Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends. - Commitment to customer service excellence. - Ability to manage multiple priorities. - Willingness to work a flexible, part-time schedule up to 29.5 hours per week, this could include early mornings, late nights, weekends and/or holidays. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED Required Certifications: Current CPR for the Professional, AED, First Aid, and Arizona Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within the first thirty (30) days of employment. Physical Demands & Work Environment: This position requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, and indoor, aquatic and outdoor work.
