**Facility & Fleet Maintenance Worker (Part-Time, Hourly)** **Reports to:** Facility and Fleet Manager **Join the Aptiv Team** Aptiv is a nonprofit, mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting people with disabilities in achieving greater independence and inclusion. We are seeking a dependable, motivated **Facility & Fleet Maintenance Worker** to help maintain our facilities, grounds, fleet vehicles, and equipment. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of maintenance tasks, working both indoors and outdoors, and takes pride in keeping buildings and vehicles safe, clean, and operating efficiently. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** - Perform general building maintenance, facility upkeep, and preventative maintenance. - Complete routine custodial and janitorial duties as needed. - Maintain grounds through mowing, trimming, landscaping, weed control, leaf removal, and snow and ice removal. - Perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general repair tasks. - Assist with fleet vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, cleaning, fueling, and coordination of repairs. - Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and maintenance equipment. - Respond promptly to work orders, maintenance requests, and facility needs. - Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed. - Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, tools, equipment, and supplies. - Follow OSHA safety standards, organizational policies, and supervisor direction. - Travel between Aptiv locations using a company or personal vehicle. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Required** - Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. - Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. - Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds and perform physical work including walking, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. **Preferred** - High school diploma or GED. - Experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial services, fleet maintenance, or general maintenance. - Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, or vehicle maintenance. - Experience operating lawn equipment, snow removal equipment, or small machinery. **Schedule & Work Environment** - Part-time, hourly position. - Flexible daytime or evening schedule based on organizational needs. - Work is performed indoors, outdoors, and at community locations. - Some travel between Aptiv facilities may be required **Why Join Aptiv?** - Meaningful work supporting individuals with disabilities. - Supportive team environment. - Variety of work with opportunities to build maintenance and facilities skills. - Flexible part-time schedule. **Equal Opportunity Employer** Aptiv is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace.
