**OVERVIEW** **Walsh Infrastructure Management LLC** is currently seeking a **Facilities Maintenance Technician** for the **FDOT Rest Areas in District 2,** in **St. Augustine** **, FL**. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform tasks involving physical labor on jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned. Join the team that is building the infrastructure where you work and live! **RESPONSIBILITIES** Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Ability to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor - Ability to work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management - Clean and prepare sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches - Load and unload supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment **QUALIFICATIONS** - 1 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred - Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on a ladder - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions - Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly - Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn - Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening **DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL** **Walsh Infrastructure Management LLC** está buscando actualmente un **Facilities Maintenance Technician** para el **FDOT Rest Areas in District 2,** en la Cuidad de **St. Augustine,** **FL.** La función principal de un Obrero es realizará tareas que involucran trabajo físico en sitios de trabajo de construcción, incluidos proyectos comerciales, industriales o civiles pesados; puede operar herramientas manuales y / o eléctricas según sea necesario; puede preparar el sitio y ayudar con otras tareas que le sean asignadas.
