Defect free product. Facilitate movement of material and assure perfect product quality.** **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment. Equipment may include, but not limited to, presses, overhead crane, fabrication line equipment, forklifts, or other power equipment. - Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance to Company Safety Policy - Perform manual tasks such as: loading, unloading, supplying fabrication line items, reworking product, and loading conveyors. - Daily machine setup using HMI (Human Machine Interfaces) - Die and or tooling change out (up to 8000lbs.) with the use of overhead crane or die lifting device. - Monitor multiple machine operations simultaneously. - Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards with the use of calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices - Provide general plant, fabrication line and facility clean up (5S) - Identify and recommend continuous improvement ideas. - Setup and observe automatic feeding and stacking equipment. - Conduct surface level troubleshooting and maintenance of assigned machines and equipment a needed for maximum product quality and operational efficiency.
