Extended Day Staff

**Job Title:** Extended Day Staff **Classification:** Non-Exempt **Reports to:** Extended Day Program Coordinator, under the Supervision of the Elementary Principal **Overview** The Extended Day is expected to assist Hebron Christian Academy in achieving its mission. A commitment to excellence and unparalleled customer service is needed and is the expectation of all Hebron employees. **Qualifications** - High degree of proficiency in people management - Possess excellent public relations skills including courteousness, tact and good verbal communications - Must have proven track record of ability to multi-task and make modifications in routine and /or activities in order to meet the needs of students in the program or within the program - Demonstrated to be highly organized and have an exceptional attention to details, accuracy and efficiency - Ability to make decisions without close supervision and handle detailed work assignments - Proven ability to maintain respect at all times for confidential information - Proven ability to maintain self-control - Proven ability to work independently and self-motivated; also work cooperatively with personnel **Spiritual and Personal Expectations** - Acknowledges Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. - Commits to faithful active service in a local orthodox, evangelical church and personal prayer and Bible study. - Commits to model spiritual, academic, physical, and social growth personally and professionally. - Maintains a Christian lifestyle that reflects the biblical perspective of integrity and appropriate personal and family relationships, personal conduct and moral behavior. - A love for students and education. - Commits to our foundational statements and governing policies. - Commits to our employee code of conduct. **Skills** - Ability to work collegially and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality. - Strong customer service orientation demonstrating excellence in providing and modelling quality customer service. - The ability to work as part of a team. - High level of energy and a good sense of humor with the capacity for extraordinary time and effort demands. - A love for students and education. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Supports the promotion of a positive climate for students in the program. - Communicates with families regarding the Extended Day Program. - Must enjoy working with school aged children up to young teens. - Responsible for assisting with creating an enriching, fun, and safe environment for children. - Responsible for assisting with after school snacks, interacting with children and their families, working independently as well as with a team. - Must have a positive attitude and serve as a role model to participants in the program.
