Export Analyst Location: San Diego, CA - Naval Base Pt. Loma Work Type: Full-Time - This is a hybrid position based in San Diego, CA, combining on-site and remote work with a minimum of three days per week on-site. Position Description: Serves as an Export Analyst in the Technical Analysis and Engineering Services (TA&ES) Directorate. Provides technical and engineering support to the Exportability Team and other teams within the TA&ES directorate. Provides technical and engineering subject matter expertise and administrative support to the senior Exportability Team members, but will also be called to support other teams as directed. In addition, participate in meetings, provide updates and deliverables, and will perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Shall provide engineering support, although not limited to, the following areas: Producing the materials and information required by the Government. This shall include, but not limited to extraction of information from various reports and plans and the assembly of appropriate information and data; preparation of briefings; attendance at meetings and preparation of minutes and position papers; maintenance of a master schedule and the tracing of milestones; and support of program audits to assure compliance with applicable policies and directives. Supporting the Government in developing and responding to program data calls, white papers, and requests for information from multiple sources. The Contractor shall develop or request from the appropriate sources, the necessary data to develop and prepare initial and final revisions within the time required to support scheduled deadlines. Support shall meet the schedule and be in the format assigned by the Government. Each document marked as final shall be accurate, complete, and free of grammatical, typographical and spelling errors. Maintain technical relationships with product vendors and DoD organizations involved in the acquisition, development, evaluation and testing of tactical SDRs and associated waveforms. Duties and Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Security Analysis: Perform Cyber Resiliency analysis on candidate waveforms hosted on tactical Software Defined Radios (SDRs), ensuring that the security requirements of communications systems are met. Assist in the review of individual focus area (security, protection, resiliency) waveform analyses inputs. Research the latest methodologies and maintain processes for SDR Waveform Cyber Resiliency analysis. Technical Support & Collaboration: Provide support for system security engineering, which requires a foundational understanding of cybersecurity, electronic protection, and technology protection. Support the implementation and documentation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for tactical radio overlays. Participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and stakeholder engagements to provide cybersecurity insights. Maintain technical relationships with external vendors and DoD organizations involved in tactical SDR waveforms.
