Curriculum & Instruction - Develop and implement lesson plans based on **developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)** and **individualized instruction** - Lead **circle time, group activities, learning centers**, and classroom transitions - Foster early academic skills, including **pre-literacy, numeracy, fine motor skills, and language development** - Utilize observation and assessment tools to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Classroom Leadership - Create a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment aligned with **NAEYC standards** - Supervise and guide **Assistant Teachers and Aides**, modeling effective teaching strategies and classroom routines - Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols - Implement positive behavior guidance and social-emotional learning strategies Family Communication & School Collaboration - Maintain open communication with families through daily updates, progress reports, and scheduled conferences - Support and attend **family engagement events**, parent education sessions, and school celebrations - Collaborate with school administrators and fellow teachers to ensure alignment with school goals and state licensing standards **Qualifications** - **Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree** in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required or in progress) - **Minimum 1–2 years of classroom experience** in a licensed preschool or early childhood center - Proven ability to lead classroom activities and routines with confidence and consistency - Strong knowledge of child development, learning domains, and early intervention best practices - Effective communication skills with children, families, and co-workers - A love for young children and a commitment to their growth and well-being **Preferred Experience** - Familiarity with curriculum models such as **Reggio Emilia** or **Montessori** is preferred, as our proprietary curriculum incorporates elements from both approaches. - Knowledge of **state child care licensing regulations and quality standards** - Background in **inclusive education, sensory integration, or differentiated instruction** is a plus **Ready to Make a Difference?** If you're looking for a teaching role where your skills, creativity, and…
