If selected for the position, the appointment is contingent upon verification of all minimum and additional qualifications including official transcripts, licenses, certificates, and work experience documentation. **Introduction** The Assistant to Senior Executive (working title: Executive Director of Strategy) is a critical member of the Kapi‘olani Community College Chancellor’s team, working closely with the campus’s leadership—Vice Chancellors, Deans, Kapi‘olani Grants Office, Principal Investigators, Assessment Coordinator, Office of Institutional Effectiveness and others—to ensure the campus-wide work toward our strategic plan goals is coordinated in order to; 1) enhance student success and career preparation; 2) implement dynamic and integrated resource management; 3) heighten our institutional capacity as an indigenous-serving institution. **Duties and Responsibilities** **Coordinate Campus-wide Work Toward Strategic Plan Goals** - Strengthens Kapi‘olani Community College's ability to achieve its vision and strategic plan goals. To do so, this position develops and implements processes to measure strategic outcomes by developing and implementing success metric indicators that help the campus understand what will enable the campus to achieve its strategic directions and overall outcomes; monitors, evaluates, and reports the tactical progress of the strategic plan goals; works with leadership to ensure that current and future campus work is aligned with the strategic plan goals; reports to constituents the forward progress of the campus in achieving its strategic outcomes; works with internal units to align unit strategic plans to the campus strategic plan goals; and prepares and co-facilitates future strategic action planning endeavors. - Designs, implements, evaluates, continually refines, and reports assessment methods and procedures to improve campus academic, student life, and administrative programming by collaboratively designing metrics for programming that advance student learning, growth, and success; monitors and evaluates student learning, growth, and success outcomes; develops measurement instruments to analyze outcomes; and fosters the development of a campus-wide culture of assessment that results in continuous improvement of student learning, growth, and success while meeting accreditation expectations and requirements. The position will also provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance assessment capacity among Kapi‘olani CC faculty and staff; such training would include but is not limited to: identification and assessment of student success outcomes and creation of measurements and rubrics for assessment and program evaluation. - Ensures regular programmatic assessment reporting and supports the efforts of academic programs to meet disciplinary accreditation requirements through designing, implementing, and reporting progress toward maintaining accreditation for the campus; serves as the institution’s Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO)--the primary point of contact to the Accrediting Commission for Com…
