Develops and implements initiatives, processes, and goals that align with campus strategies while supporting corporate system initiatives. - Monitors relevant outcomes and suggests process changes to ensure departments provide appropriate services for all stakeholders. - Works closely with system and campus executives to craft and disseminate messages to ensure employee understanding and engagement. - Promotes a safe environment for all stakeholders. - Assures compliance and provides evidence of performance with accreditation bodies and other regulatory requirements for assigned areas. - Leads Nurse Retention, Clinical Models, Unit Culture, Epic Operations Change Management, and Surgical New Builds policy formulation and decision-making. - Prepares, executes, and monitors departmental operating budgets to ensure appropriate staffing, professional development, space, supplies, and equipment. - Other duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Advanced knowledge of clinical practices and processes, legal and regulatory requirements in healthcare, medical staff issues, performance improvement, patient safety and risk management principles [Required] - Expert analytical and problem-solving skills [Required] - Exceptional communication skills including the ability to influence in a collaborative manner, persuade teams, up to and including the executive level, to build consensus within and across stakeholder groups (high-level negotiation skills) [Required] - Mastery of performance improvement methodology and tools [Required] - Analytical and managerial ability; motivational and team-building skills [Required] - Excellent facilitation skills in various PI methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, PDSA, etc.) [Required] - Advanced ability to oversee multiple and varied projects with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail [Required] - Strong organization skills [Required] - Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff [Required] - Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel [Required] - Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals [Required] - Broad clinical nursing knowledge [Required] - Strong competency in personal leadership abilities [Requir…
