We’ve created a place where we can work hard, be creative and have our voices heard. **GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB**: Responsible for cleaning public areas, including all areas on checklist and turndown services while guests are at dinner, in addition to any other tasks requested by Housekeeping Supervisors. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Regular and timely attendance for scheduled shifts. To be in uniform, neat and well presented at all times. Follows correct payroll, pager and key procedures. Initiates and maintains effective communication amongst co-workers and between the Spa and other departments. Privide turn down service to rooms while guests are at dinner. Deliver items upon request. Ensures that all public areas are cleaned in detail, as directed updated checklist. Maintains equipment storage area and general storage areas in Housekeeping, in a neat, orderly fashion. Ensures adequate inventory of cleaning chemicals. Keeps all equipment clean and workable and reports any deficiencies and needed repairs in daily log. Is familiar with hotel and spa safety and emergency procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Is familiar with, and adheres to departmental Standard Operating Procedures. **ESSENTIAL QUALITIES** Friendly attitude. High energy. Ability to write simple correspondence. **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**: Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. **REASONING ABILITY**: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
