Estimator (Sioux Falls)

**Great Place Construction** is a private construction firm that specializes in commercial construction. We are seeking an Estimator to join our team to calculate, compile and prepare estimates as part of the pre-construction team. If you are driven to succeed, want to elevate yourself and those around you, and want to grow with a growing company, we want you! **DUTIES:** - Generate project estimates. - Complete quantity takeoffs. - Solicit specialty contractors to obtain estimates. - Maintain specialty contractor database to insure current information and inclusion of new potential bidders. - Assist in preparation of request for proposal documents. - Support management team in maintain and updating estimating software/database. - Coordinate bid document sharing with all process stakeholders. - Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you. - Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome. **REQUIREMENTS:** - Excellent communication skills - Excellent attention to detail. - Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or equivalent experience. - Minimum 3 years of related experience - Familiarity with commercial estimating techniques and software: On-Screen Take off, Bluebeam, ISqFT, etc. - Valid DL and good driving record **BENEFITS TO YOU:** Our Full-Time employees enjoy full medical, dental and vision insurance.
