As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key role in leading your team while helping change lives through the power of work. ✅ Full-time position with benefits ✅ Leadership and career growth opportunities ✅ Mission-driven organization ✅ Supportive, team-oriented culture What You'll Do - Lead daily retail operations to achieve sales, production, and customer service goals - Coach, train, and develop team members for success - Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management - Motivate employees while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture - Maintain merchandising, inventory, pricing, and store presentation standards - Monitor financial performance and support budget and operational goals - Promote donation growth and support local marketing initiatives - Ensure a safe, clean, and organized shopping and work environment - Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards - Partner with Mission Services to support employee and participant development - Assist with evaluating participant job performance and promoting workplace success - Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For - 5+ years of retail experience - 1+ year of supervisory or management experience - Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills - Excellent customer service and communication abilities - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Intermediate computer and digital skills - Ability to motivate others and drive results in a fast-paced environment - Commitment to Goodwill's mission, culture, and continuous improvement - Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Education - High school diploma or GED required - Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred Work Environment - Retail environment with climate-controlled conditions - Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs - Occasional exposure to dust, lint, donated goods, and outdoor weather conditions - Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and occasional short deadlines - Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Goodwill?
