Equipment Operator, Wet Utilities

**Responsibilities:** - Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer - Installs trench boxes as necessary - Operates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures - Ensure proper excavation & compaction procedures are performed - Ensures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections & grease equipment at required intervals - Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities - Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job - Manage quality control and production - Train team members as needed in a hands-on manner **Requirements:** - Ability access secured facilities - Ability to operate large excavators with precision - High attention to detail **Physical Requirements:** - Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.). - Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen. - Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. - Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. **Compensation:** - Pay based on experience and certifications - Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance/Short Term Disability/Accident/Critical Illness/Hospital Confinement - Paid Time Off - 401 + Match
