**Job Title:** Epidemiologist **Location:** Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio **Employment Type:** Full Time **Targeted Start Date:** January 2022 **Benefits:** JYG offers exceptional benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, 401(k) and semi-monthly direct deposit. **Essential Job Responsibilities Include:** - Data collection and data support - Technical Interchange **Requirements:** - Master's level degree in epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, or related field, and at least 5 years' experience working in this field - Advanced analytical skills in public health, epidemiology and epidemiological study design and execution, to include experience combining, cleaning, and analyzing large multivariate data sets, including experience with epidemiological and/or health-related datasets - Knowledge of common statistical methods as well as experience applying them to real-world situations - Technical writing and presentation skills, including the ability to provide interpretation of results and conduct scientific literature reviews - Expertise in descriptive statistics, multivariable analysis, Rapid and/or MS SQL, as well as STATA, SAS, R, and/or SPSS statistical software - Medically qualified to work in an altitude chamber (AF Form 1274 required) and fly during Government-operated MEDEVAC/AES/CCATT training flights (AF Form 2992, IAW AFI 48-123, and Operational Support Flying Duties) - Experience with MS Windows, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat - Professional, detail oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and speak fluent English - Prior military experience or previous experience working in a military environment - Experience in human performance research U.S. Citizenship required Successful completion of backgrounds screening may be required JYG Innovations is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
