Learn more about Partner at [www.partneresi.com](https://www.partneresi.com/). **Summary** Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an Environmental/Zoning Due Diligence Professional to conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Zoning research & report preparation in support of commercial real estate transactions. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS** - Internet-based research of GIS Maps, online property files, and Zoning Ordinances - Assist in document collection via telephone, internet, email, and written copy - Compose and/or draft correspondence - Request property records with continued follow-up until project completion - Perform data entry following prescribed or established formats - Maintain databases, logs, and spreadsheets to manage workload - Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget - Project research (historical, analytical, etc.) - Communication with clients and subject site representatives - Data compilation and organization - Report authoring - Preparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.) - Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with report deliverable schedule and plan **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Obtain, track, and manage documents; verify their accuracy - Correspond with municipalities nationwide via telephone, email, and online portals - Assist in ensuring documents and municipal responses are obtained to meet clients’ deadlines - Work as part of a team to ensure efficient completion of tasks to produce high-quality reports - Complete specific project tasks as directed by the Project Manager - Conduct project research as applicable to scope of work (historical, analytical, etc.) - Data compilation and organization - Conducting site reconnaissance, including sampling activities, if necessary - Technical report authoring - Preparation of quality supporting report documents/files - Effectively communicate project progress and issues with the Project Manager - Maintain communication with team members throughout the course of the project **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES** - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat - Proficient in using Internet search engines such as Google and Bing - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision - Ability to work within a team environment - Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines - Familiar with land use and zoning principles (helpful but not required) - Ability to read and interpret zoning ordinances (helpful but not required) - Ability to read and interpret ALTA surveys (helpful but not required) **COMPENSATION:** Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000.
