Our relatives come first and deserve the best. **Position Summary**: The Environmental Services & Safety Technician is a responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment for relatives (patients), staff, and visitors. This position supports the therapeutic setting by ensuring high standards of environmental cleanliness while actively promoting safety through monitoring, de-escalation, and facility oversight. This role plays a critical part in room turnovers, facility upkeep, and incident prevention, while responding appropriately to safety concerns and supporting a calm, respectful environment aligned with trauma-informed and culturally responsive care principles, including Indigenous Knowledge Informed Systems of Care (IndigiKnow). **Organizational Structure/Reporting Relationships:** This position is part of the Environmental Services (EVS) team and reports directly to the EVS Director.
