Must be available for all shifts.** ***\*This position is for current EVS Government associates only.*** **Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position** **Job Purpose or Objective(s):** The Environmental Services Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing Environmental Services (EVS) and Deep Clean operations within the assigned region. This role supports government, healthcare, and commercial facilities by ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. The Manager oversees staffing, budgets, and supplies; ensures compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards; and promotes high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency. **Primary Tasks:** 1. Plan, organize, and manage daily environmental services operations, including cleaning, sanitation, waste management, and infection control support. 2. Supervise assigned staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions. 3. Develop, implement, and enforce cleaning protocols, procedures, and quality assurance standards to ensure consistent service delivery. 4. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and regulatory requirements, such as OSHA, EPA, CDC, and Joint Commission. 5. Conduct routine inspections and audits to verify cleanliness, safety, and adherence to established standards, and implement corrective and preventative actions as needed. 6. Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets and maintain accountability for labor, supplies, equipment, and operational expenses. 7. Oversee inventory control and security of supplies and equipment and review invoices to verify accurate pricing and receipt of items. 8. Monitor and maintain the work order system to ensure requests are submitted accurately, tracked appropriately, and completed in a timely manner. 9. Coordinate with facility leadership and other departments to support operational needs, special projects, and emergency response activities while resolving guest, patient, associate, and management concerns in a professional manner. 10. Perform other duties as may be assigned. **Required Education and Experience:** - Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, OR 2 years of directly related experience in environmental services, deep clean, or general maintenance in lieu of education - Understand government public health and, or safety regulations/requirements - Understanding of Joint Commission, infection prevention and safety standards. - Be willing and able to perform job tasks of subordinates (except technical positions) - Ability to manage budgets, review operational data, and control inventory - Ability to use scheduling systems and basic computer applications - One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience ### Responsibilities 1.
