Environmental Services Equipment Cleaning Tech

**Schedule: Per diem (scheduled as needed), days/evenings, weekend availability.** **Main Function:** - Performs a variety of tasks including operating the UV disinfection machine in all areas to maintain a sanitary, pleasant, and safe environment for patients, residents, visitors, and associates. - Must comply with all requirements for infection control, safety, and cleanliness as mandated by JCAHO, OSHA, DOH, and other regulatory agencies. **Job Specific Competencies:** - Demonstrates skill in cleaning/disinfecting medical equipment used for patient care and treatment. - Is knowledgeable of procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, infection control, Disinfection and safety. - Can work with minimal supervision. - Can organize cleaning duties and prioritize work to complete assignments in an efficient manner. - Maintains collaborative working relationships with nursing and other departments. - Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system. **Education and Experience:** - Required - High school diploma or an equivalent - Required - 1 to 5 years previous work experience - Required – previous computer experience **Pay Range:** $18.25 - $20.00 **Starting Pay:** Based on experience ***Thompson Health is an EOE encouraging individuals with disabilities and veterans to apply.***
