Our services and products touch thousands of acres and businesses, millions of tons of organic material, and nearly every person who purchases and consumes food in the U.S. **Apply to join our team today!** **Environmental Compliance Assistant** **Corporate Office (Russellville, AR)** **Full–Time / Hourly – Monday Through Friday 8 am to 5 pm - (Entry Level)** **About the Role:** The Environmental Compliance Specialist has two primary functions: 1. Verify the field records provided by the area managers for the land application. 2. Assist and support the environmental team on special projects and reports. This position plays a critical role in supporting the company’s commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship. **Key Responsibilities** - Based on permits, set up fields in OMS with acres, crops, permit number, expiration dates, new permit revision, location, latitude and longitude, landowner information, landowner agreements, and maps. - Processes field records for various land application operations, filling out/scanning the documents. - Verifies use of correct PANs, units of measurement, volume, correct product, type of application, etc. - Communicates with operations on missing field logs, incorrectness of records, and/or holding tables. - Reviews and interprets field data for compliance with required regulations and Denali BMPs. Communicates compliance gaps with regional environmental and operations teams. - Compiles data into required weekly, monthly, or annual reports to maintain compliance with state and/or federal regulations. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Strong organizational and documentation skills. - High School diploma or equivalent - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to field locations. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes. - Familiarity with environmental reporting systems and compliance software. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them operationally. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Professional judgment when handling sensitive compliance matters. - Strong interpersonal skills for working with operations and leadership teams. **Work Environment & Physical Requirements** - Ability to lift to 25–50 lbs occasionally. - Regular, full-time, in-office attendance with daily computer and phone use. - Primarily sitting, typing, and screen work. **Why You’ll Love Working at Denali- Benefits & Perks** At Denali, the work we do begins and ends with **you** – our employees.
