About PackageX PackageX is building the Physical Logistics Execution Platform for enterprise teams operating across manufacturing sites, distribution centers, warehouses, retail locations, and logistics-heavy environments. Our platform uses Vision AI, workflow automation, mobile execution, and integrations to help companies digitize, execute, and verify physical operations at the point of work, creating trusted evidence of what happened across their operations. Our operating model is simple: Execution. Verification. Evidence. Role Overview PackageX is looking for an Enterprise Workflow Architect to work directly with customers, prospects, sales, product, engineering, AI, and implementation teams to understand complex physical operations, design PackageX workflows, and implement solutions that work in real-world environments. This role is similar to a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), but focused on enterprise workflow design, solution configuration, customer operations, technical implementation, and go-live success. From pre-sales solution design through pilot, implementation, testing, rollout, and go-live, you'll serve as a technical point of contact, translating customer requirements into validated, production-ready solutions. Working across manufacturing sites, distribution centers, warehouses, retail locations, and other logistics-heavy environments, you'll map workflows, configure the PackageX platform, support pilots, troubleshoot issues, and help customers go live successfully. This is a customer-facing, technical, and hands-on role. The right person can move seamlessly from a warehouse floor conversation to a VP of Operations meeting, configure workflows in the platform, and partner with Product and Engineering to close technical gaps. This is more than a pre-sales or solution design role. You'll build solutions and make them happen. Role Details Reports to: Chief Technology & AI Officer. Location: This is a U.S. based role, with remote or hybrid flexibility depending on candidate location and company needs. Travel: Regular customer-site travel required for discovery, workflow mapping, operational walkthroughs, pilots, implementation, and go-live. Compensation Target base salary: $150,000–$175,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Performance-based bonus tied to workflow quality, pilot execution, implementation success, time-to-go-live, customer technical satisfaction, and successful production rollouts. Expected total compensation: $165,000–$200,000 OTE, based on achievement of performance objectives. The compensation package also includes a meaningful equity grant aligned with the company’s stage and the scope of the role. What You’ll Own Customer workflow discovery and process mapping. Pre-sales solution design and technical workflow support. Current-state and future-state workflow design. PackageX workflow configuration and hands-on implementation. Pilot setup, testing, validation, and rollout support. Customer technical ownership through solution design, implementation, and go-live. Translation of customer requirements into working platform solutions. Workflow documentation, configuration logic, QA, and implementation readiness. Internal solution handoffs to product, engineering, AI, and implementation teams. Identification of reusable workflow patterns. Support for strategic demos, pilots, readouts, and enterprise rollouts. What You’ll Do Join customer and prospect conversations during pre-sales to understand real operational workflows. Travel to customer sites for discovery, workflow mapping, operational walkthroughs, pilot support, readouts, and go-live activities. Map current-state and future-state processes. Translate customer workflows into PackageX platform configurations. Configure workflows, rules, forms, logic, automations, and solution components.
