As an Engineering Technician, you will engage in a variety of challenging projects, from building and prototyping robotic systems in laboratory settings to validating them in real-world scenarios. Responsibilities Execute high-precision assembly of complex robotic hardware, structural sub-assemblies, and specialized fixtures according to engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics. Set up, instrument, and run early-stage operational testing, mechanical stress testing, and functional validation procedures on prototype robots. Support Engineering Validation Testing (EVT) by identifying mechanical anomalies, performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and documenting failures to iterate on hardware designs. Redline engineering drawings and document manufacturing/assembly steps to help build formal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and build books for future production runs.
