The opportunity: As an Engineering Manager, Backend/Data at Agoda, you will lead a team of talented engineers in building and scaling robust backend and data platforms that power critical products and services at Agoda. You will drive the design and development of distributed systems, data pipelines, and high-throughput, low-latency services, while ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence. This role also offers the opportunity to work on fintech-related platforms and transaction-heavy systems , including areas connected to payments, financial operations, and other business-critical flows where accuracy, resilience, and performance are essential.
