Engineering Intern

As part of the Aebi Schmidt Group, we are committed to delivering superior solutions to our customers as well as providing rewarding career opportunities. **Engineering Intern** **Responsibilities** - Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to identify manufacturing process gaps and implement process improvement opportunities. - Investigate production issues and determine root causes related to engineering documentation, product design, or system configuration. - Create, update, and maintain engineering drawings, assemblies, and 3D models using **PTC Creo** and **AutoCAD**. - Create, review, and maintain accurate **Bills of Materials (BOMs)** to support manufacturing operations. - Ensure engineering drawings and documentation are accurate, complete, and aligned with manufacturing requirements. - Support **Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)**, revision control, and documentation updates. - Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify opportunities for improving quality, efficiency, and productivity. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving manufacturing processes, and enhancing product quality. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing, to resolve engineering-related issues. - Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Supervisor. **Qualifications** - Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on experience with **PTC Creo** and **AutoCAD**. - Basic understanding of engineering drawings, fabrication and assembly drawings, and **Bills of Materials (BOMs)**. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. **Employee Benefits** - Vacation/Paid Holidays - Medical Insurance, Dental and Vision Insurance - Company Paid Life Insurance - Company Paid Short Term & Long-Term Disability - Flex Spending Account - 401K Retirement Account **An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer** **EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled**
