Our unique portfolio includes primarily Spanish language TV & Radio broadcast assets across 35 markets, an exclusive audio network & streaming platform, and a robust mix of curated digital & social media content solutions. **Engineering Assistant TV & RD** **Miami, FL** | **Full Time** **Summary** Entravision is looking for a motivated, hands-on Engineering Assistant to support the daily technical operations of our television and radio facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and working behind the scenes to ensure flawless broadcasts across multiple platforms. **Essential Functions** - Assist engineering staff in maintaining and troubleshooting television, radio, and streaming broadcast equipment. - Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of broadcast, production, IT, and transmission systems. - Perform preventive maintenance on technical equipment to ensure operational reliability. - Respond quickly to technical issues during live broadcasts and breaking news coverage. - Help maintain studio equipment, cameras, audio systems, control rooms, editing systems, and newsroom technology. - Assist with equipment inventory, documentation, cable management, and technical records. - Coordinate with newsroom, production, and operations teams to minimize technical downtime. - Support remote productions and special events as needed. - Follow company safety procedures and FCC operational standards. **Required Education and Experience** - **At least 5 years of experience** in broadcast engineering, AV systems, IT support, or a related technical environment preferred. - Associate degree or technical certification in Broadcast Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. - Basic understanding of television and radio broadcast systems, networking, audio/video signal flow, and IP-based technologies. - Experience with Windows, networking fundamentals, and broadcast equipment is a plus. - Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 lbs.), climb ladders, and work in studio and transmitter environments when required. - Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally when necessary. - Basic knowledge of television master control, production control rooms, radio operations, and digital streaming technologies. - Familiarity with broadcast automation, video routing, audio consoles, and transmission systems. - Spanish language skills are a plus. · **POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK**This is a Full Time position.
