The Division of Cardiology has had its own Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Medicine for over a decade and is also a major teaching affiliate for Montefiore’s Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program. Jacobi is a New York State certified STEMI receiving center with an active PCI program and a mechanical support program including ECMO. Jacobi has outstanding cardiovascular clinical facilities offering a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker, ICD and BiV ICD implantation, and cardiac CT / MRI. Jacobi also has had an active Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) since 2014. **Opportunity Details:** - Jacobi Medical Center is offering a 1-year Endovascular Fellowship. - Fellowship focuses on arterial and venous disease management using endovascular techniques. Training also includes: - Percutaneous interventions for acute pulmonary embolism. - Wound management. - Endovenous ablation. - Interventional dialysis access management. - Formal training in vascular ultrasound interpretation. - Training provided by Jacobi’s IAC Vascular Testing certified noninvasive lab. The Jacobi experience is unique given the close collaboration between Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery to provide a very comprehensive didactic curriculum and hands on training with both Endovascular Cardiologists and Surgeons. - Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York. - The successful candidate must have a M.D./D.O. or equivalent doctoral degree. - Prior completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship or prior cath lab experience with percutaneous procedures is preferred. **Wages and Benefits include:** Annual Base Salary: $102,747\* based on 40-hour work week.
