Ensuring all forms and patient information are input into the system. 2. Completing FMLA in a timely manner 3. Prepping H&P Packets for the following week 4. Completing MRI Auths in a timely manner 5. Printing and distributing Fax Folder Daily 6. Filtering tasks. Completing or reassigning as necessary 7. Returning patient calls in a timely manner. 8. Checking patients in before seeing the provider 9. Checking patients out after seeing the provider 10. Complete brace fitting and education for pre op patients 11. Educate patients on all procedures that we perform. 12. Complete necessary follow up calls to patients 13. Keep complete and accurate notes regarding education for surgical candidates. 14. Performing EKGs 15. Completing vitals on patients 16. Scanning 17. Reviewing schedule for the following week 18. Assisting within the office as needed 19. Traveling to all other locations when needed 20. Assisting in clinic as needed 21. Communicates with other team members in clinical and clerical areas to provide a successful patient centered practice. 22. Other duties as assigned. **NTIA**s may be assigned. | **EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS** **** | | | --- | --- | 1. High School diploma, GED or equivalent 2. BLS Certificate 3. Certified Medical Assistant (preferred) 4. Current License in the state of Florida 5. Experience as an EMT or Medical Assistant (preferred) **** | **EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS** **** | | | --- | --- | 1. 1 year of relevant call center or medical experience preferred. 2. 1-2 years of customer service required. 3. 1 year of medical terminology preferred. 4. Ability to problem solve as well as critical thinking. 5. Proficient in professional and effective communication skills 6. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and thoroughness. 7. Effectively utilize available relevant technical tools and resources (e.g. Microsoft, Outlook) | **KNOWLEDGE** | | | --- | --- | 1. Knowledge of medical terminology. 2. Knowledge of the health care field. 3. Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations related to patient information. 4. Knowledge of counseling, conflict resolution, and customer service principles and applications. 5.
