WHAT YOU'LL DO: Reporting to the Associate Director of Employment, the primary role of the Employment Training Program Manager is to supervise the day-to-day operations of the Employment Training program, and the Youth Force paid internship program for Larkin Street clients, that teaches basic employability and life skills to help youth better secure and retain employment. This role supervises and coordinates a team of staff that provide support and guidance to LSA clients in the employment training process. The Employment Training Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the weekly schedule and assignments for all staff and interns, managing youth payment and program budget, ensuring appropriate documentation of all operations, helping to developing the curriculum for Employment Training Program as well as life skills classes, and modeling and monitoring of trauma-informed client centered care. This is a full-time position , eligible for full benefits. Your responsibilities: Oversee the implementation & Execution of the Employment Training Program. Oversee Youth Force internship program for Larkin Street Youth Services clients. Responsible for interviewing and hiring staff for the Youth Force program team, as well as supporting interviewing and hiring for other Workforce staff. Supervise record keeping for programs the role oversees, including intern employment documentation and timecards. Provide weekly supervision to ETP and Youth Force Staff. Facilitate regular Team meetings with staff. Attend meetings, manage communications, and collaboration at various Larkin Street program sites and external agencies to support Larkin Street clients, staff, and to facilitate coordinated care as directed by supervisor. Contribute to Larkin Street Youth program refinements in ways that meet employers’ needs and expectations. Create engagement and support plans for client participants with higher needs. Assist staff to developing curriculum for life-skills classes, including job readiness, job development and retention, college success and career planning, and independent living skills. Participate in all management meetings, weekly staff meetings, and all other relevant or required agency or contract/community/grant partner meetings. Participate in agency planning activities. Facilitate and encourage high cross-coordination and collaboration with LSA and Engagement programming. Run weekly database reports for ETP & Youth Force Program and report relevant contract data to Associate Director or other departments as needed. Develop curriculum for life skills classes and support staff in facilitation. Hold regular new client orientations to set program expectations and complete new-hire paperwork. Participate in afterhours On-Call rotation for housing programs. Manage program budget and submit monthly expense report.
