Perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies. · Respond promptly and calmly to emergency and non-emergency calls. · Assess and prioritize patient care based on injury or illness. · Administer CPR, oxygen, oral glucose, and utilize AEDs as needed. · Assist paramedics with airway management and ventilation. · Treat trauma with appropriate splinting and spinal immobilization. · Complete patient care and insurance documentation thoroughly and timely. · Operate an emergency vehicle safely and in compliance with all relevant laws and hospital guidelines. · Monitor communication devices and coordinate non-emergent transport requests. · Maintain ambulance cleanliness, stock levels, and decontamination protocols. · Represent the organization at public events while on duty. · Assist in the Emergency Department as needed. · Perform additional duties to ensure smooth ambulance transport operations. ### **What Sets BRG Apart:** At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
