Elementary Teacher - 2nd Grade

**Position Overview:** Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, a ministry of **The Rock Family Worship Center**, is seeking a dedicated and faith-driven **Elementary Teacher: 2nd Grade** to nurture academic excellence and spiritual growth in young learners. The ideal candidate will create a dynamic, engaging, and supportive classroom environment while integrating biblical principles into daily instruction. **Qualifications:** - **Education**: Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited university. - **Certification**: Valid Alabama teaching certification with appropriate subject area endorsement(s) and grade level. - **Skills**: Strong instructional abilities, classroom management, and commitment to faith-based education. **Key Responsibilities:** ✅ **Faith-Based Instruction & Leadership** - Integrate biblical principles into daily lessons and classroom culture. - Serve as a Christ-like role model in interactions with students, staff, and families. - Actively participate in chapel services, devotionals, and school-wide faith initiatives. ✅ **Engaging & Effective Teaching** - Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum. - Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs. - Utilize innovative teaching methods to create an interactive learning environment. ✅ **Student Support & Classroom Management** - Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture. - Establish and uphold clear expectations for student behavior. - Regularly assess student progress and adapt instruction accordingly. ✅ **Communication & Collaboration** - Maintain open, professional communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators. - Provide timely feedback on student progress and development. - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices. **Physical Requirements:** - Frequently lift/move **10-25 lbs**, and constantly lift/move **up to 10 lbs**. **Additional Information:** - **Contract Term:** 189 days - **Salary:** Based on education and experience.
