The special education department is devoted to the success of every student. This is an exciting opportunity to become a team member who is committed to the vision of educating all learners while fostering positive attitudes and work habits. Job Summary: The employee fulfilling this job is accountable to the Special Education Supervisor and is responsible for the instruction of students with special needs. The employee will be held to the Highly Qualified requirements of teaching. Expectations include a pleasant and professional demeanor, a positive attitude, and an outgoing personality. The employee must also maintain confidentiality and engage in professional development as required by the State of Michigan. Qualifications/Education: The ideal candidate must have a desire to work with students with physical and cognitive impairments.
