The teacher will be responsible for supporting student learning at WIS. WIS believes relationships are key in order for students to feel safe and willing to take a chances in their learning. Creating a growth mindset in students requires relationship-building skills and a growth mindset in the teacher. Job Requirements:Teach lessons aligned with school and district goals and standards using various techniques, methods, and principles appropriate for the age and ability of students. Incorporate technology in instruction to enhance and personalize student learning. Plan lessons and activities that incorporate various methods, techniques, and technologies to engage and ensure student learning. Create and use assessments to monitor progress of students learning and respond accordingly based on student performance. Communicate student progress to all stakeholders, including parents, administrators, and other district personnel. Manage student behavior and create systems that create a safe environment where students can learn. Document student progress and attendance in an accurate and timely manner. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional strategies. Work with colleagues to identify and solve student problems. Attend meetings and participate in committees as requested. Demonstrates a willingness to examine and implement change when appropriate. ?
