These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives. ## Job Description **Electro-Mechanical Technician| Hiring Immediately | Macon, Georgia** **Compensation:** - **Competitive starting pay range of $34.95-$40.76** per hour, paid weekly **Available Shift:** - 2nd Shift - 12-hour - 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM - 5-2-2-5 **TEXT TO APPLY NUMBER:** - 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX) **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Repair, modify, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure products are in specification. - Fabricates parts not commercially available, - Troubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls. - Communicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers. - Assist (as required) in the training and skill upgrading of other maintenance and production personnel. - Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area. - Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision. - Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards. - Maintains excellent safety record. - Maintains an excellent attendance record. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Interpersonal skills. - Strong sense of urgency. - Must have good written and verbal communication skills - Intermediate computer knowledge. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision. - PLC ladder diagram reading. - Full understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams. **Qualifications:** - - High School Diploma or GED required. - Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience. - At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities. - At least three (3) years of experience in mechanics. - At least three (3) years of experience in controls. - Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures. - Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred. - A technical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as electronics technology or electro-mechanical engineering technology, is preferred. **Physical Requirements:** - Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent) - Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent) - Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional) - Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent) #INDFGR ## Company Benefits ## What You'll Get From Us ### Benefits With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
