Electricians – Nationwide Join Activ8 Solar Energies and be part of Ireland's transition to renewable energy. We're looking for experienced Electricians to join our Installation teams nationwide. You'll receive comprehensive Solar PV training and recognised industry qualifications, giving you the opportunity to develop as a renewable energy specialist. The Opportunity At Activ8, you'll learn more, earn more and progress faster, with clear career pathways in one of Ireland's fastest growing industries. As a Solar Electrician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties. You will receive 6 weeks of complete and thorough industry-specific training. Responsibilities - Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe electric specifications and SEAI code of practice. - Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems. - Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems. - Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment. - Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems. - Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time. - Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used. - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards. About You - Qualified Electrician ideally with 3+ years domestic experience - Knowledge of electrical codes and standards. - Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Strong communication skills. - Attention to detail. - Test & Verification certification would be an advantage. - Valid driver's license. - Must live within a commutable distance of one of our operating bases in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan; Naas, Co. Kildare; Cashel, Co. Tipperary; or Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.
