Electrician Organization: Florida Panthers Hockey Club Department: Electrical Reports To: Electrician II FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Employment Type: Part-Time Location: Florida Panthers Ice Plex & FTL War Memorial, Fort Lauderdale, FL — On-Site Schedule: Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule Position Summary As a part-time Electrician at the Florida Panthers Ice Plex and FTL War Memorial, you'll support the electrical systems that power one of South Florida's most exciting new multi-use facilities. Working under the direction of the Electrician II, you'll contribute to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across rinks, entertainment spaces, and building infrastructure — helping keep everything running safely for athletes, performers, and guests alike. This role is ideal for a licensed electrician — or someone actively working toward their license — looking to build experience in a high-energy sports and entertainment environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Electrical Installation & Maintenance Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems throughout the facility Install and terminate low-voltage wiring including data, communications, and control circuits Install and service safety and distribution components: switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, and related equipment Prepare and assemble conduit runs and pull wiring through them Install circuit boards, outlets, motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other electrical equipment Repair and replace electrical wiring, fixtures, and components as directed Inspection, Troubleshooting & Safety Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components for wear, damage, or code compliance issues Troubleshoot commercial electrical equipment and systems using appropriate testing devices and diagnostic tools Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance and rout…
