Electrician Instructor (Full-Time)

If you’ve worked in the field and want to help others build a career in the electrical trade, this is a great opportunity to make an impact. **What You’ll Do:** - Teach hands-on electrical skills to students preparing for careers in the trade - Demonstrate safe use of tools, equipment, and electrical systems - Train students in residential, commercial, and/or industrial wiring - Prepare students for licensure and industry certifications - Support and mentor students as they develop their skills **What You Bring:** - Strong, hands-on experience in the electrical trade - Knowledge of electrical fundamentals (AC/DC) and NEC standards - Experience with wiring, conduit installation, and power distribution - Familiarity with motor controls, transformers, or PLCs (preferred) - Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate concepts to others - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. You must meet one of the following: - Associate degree in Electrical Technology (or an equivalent field) plus five (5) years of electrical work experience **OR** - Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of electrical work experience **OR** - five or more (5+) years of electrical work experience and willingness to complete an Electrical Technology Associate degree within three (3) years **Preferred:** - Licensed Master or Journeyman Electrician **No Teaching Experience? No Problem.** Many of our instructors come directly from the field. We’ll support you as you transition into teaching.
