If you're ready to step into a high-impact role where your technical leadership truly matters, we invite you to join our mission. **About this Role:** Serve as the technical expert for diagnosing, repairing, and enhancing a wide range of electronic systems used across Solid Waste Division facilities, and monitoring controls. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to perform system evaluations, modify existing infrastructure, and document changes. Design and implement custom solutions, fabricate and install specialized components, and coordinate with electricians and other staff to ensure system reliability and safety. Provide training, maintain detailed records, and support cross-functional efforts to improve infrastructure performance and compliance. The King County Solid Waste Division (KCSWD) is responsible for the public solid waste system that services the people and communities of unincorporated King County and most cities within King County. KCSWD is the lead King County agency for delivering the Zero Waste of Resources goal for the region, which will reduce valuable materials sent to the landfill by up to 70%.
