## Description A hybrid role that assists with the wiring, testing, and installation of industrial conveyor systems. ## Requirements Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping around the work areas. · Must have the ability to travel up to 25%. · Must be able to learn how to use various software. (Studio 5000, AutoCad, Nordcon, Safety Designer, etc.) · Must be able to understand and read an electrical print. · Must be able to use hand/electric tools including but not limited to strippers, screwdrivers, pliers, drills, grinders, sanders, and bandsaw. · Must show the ability to stand for long periods of time in one place (at least 9 to 10 hours per day). · Must be able to climb at least a 6’ ladder safely. · Must be able to lift up to 70lbs. · Must pay close attention to detail when wiring panels and machines for clean and neat work. · Must be able to take constructive criticism/orders from supervisor on all electrical projects. · Be able to comply with all required hours asked to work including overtime/weekends for jobs to meet ship dates. · Must show capacity for troubleshooting electrical systems in both panels, machines, and different software used in controlling machines. · Must be able to navigate Windows 10/11. · Be able to work well with others in close vicinity and have strong teamwork skills. · Willingness to work with other internal departments and customers. · Additional duties may be assigned by management. High school diploma or GED candidates REQUIRED: English speaking, reading and writing, math skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to accurately read a tape measure. · Prior work experience in the electrical/controls industry is a plus. The individual must have a working knowledge of the following: · Must be able to use various tools including but not limited to: Tape measure, adjustable wrench, standard and metric Allen wrenches, and impact drills. · Must have an understanding of quality standards. · Basic understanding of electrical systems While performing the duties of the job: · The employee may be exposed to the following: moving mechanical parts and vehicles, high levels of sound, hot and cold temperatures, and high voltage ratings (460 volts). · The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. · The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects. · The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl. · The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 90 pounds. · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
