Do you excel in a dynamic, rewarding work environment that values expertise, growth, and innovation? **SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:** We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to support the planning, preparation, and execution of multiple utility-scale projects. In this role, you will coordinate day-to-day operations, provide leadership to electricians and apprentices, and oversee project-specific construction activities. Responsibilities include crew supervision, construction management, and both medium- and long-term planning to ensure readiness, efficiency, and quality results. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel to various locations within and beyond New Mexico. **About the Company** Established in 2014, Gridworks is a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. With nearly 2 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector. **ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Management:** - Plan, organize, and direct the work of electrician employees on a daily basis - Examining plans and potential sites, as well as developing a plan to install all electrical wiring and equipment installation needs - Supervise workers and field personnel in implementing the electrical plan - Ensure all safety measures and regulations are followed, as accident prevention and worker safety are high priorities in this potentially dangerous environment. - Monitor work progress and coordinate with the site superintendents, Director of Construction and Safety to deliver progress reports - General project planning prior to project commencement - Manage project supplies so that products arrive on time and are purchased at lowest possible cost - Manage site preparation and cleanup **Training:** - Hold mandatory training sessions on installation methodology and safety - Apply knowledge of National Electrical Code - Train conduit and wiring runs - Teach homeruns, wiring combiner box - Teach tool management standards **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Supervision of Electricians on jobsite - Provides coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. **WORK ENVIORNMENT:** - Fast paced and ever-changing environment. - Ability to work in extreme environments, cold, winter weather, hot sun - Able to work in confided spaces, and attics - Not afraid of heights and able to climb on top of roofs - 100% field work **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** - Standing or walking for long periods of time. - Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. - Bend or twist their body. - Repeat the same movements. - Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles. - Ability to work long hours as required for the installation crews to work to optimal efficiency **POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:** - This is a full-time position. - You may be required the work weekends or after normal business hours from time to time. **TRAVEL:** - Ability and willingness to travel to various locations as required within and outside of New Mexico. **OTHER DUTIES:** PLEASE NOTE THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IS NOT DESIGNED TO COVER OR CONTAIN A COMPREHENSIVE LISTING OF ACTIVITIES, DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES THAT ARE REQUIRED OF THE EMPLOYEE FOR THIS JOB.
