This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the electrical or solar industry. You'll work alongside experienced electricians, gain hands-on field experience, and develop the skills needed to advance within a growing organization. **This position requires travel four (4) days per week** to project sites. Candidates should be comfortable working on the road, staying overnight when necessary, and supporting projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, enjoys working outdoors, and is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. * * * ## What You'll Do - Assist licensed electricians with residential solar electrical installations - Prepare job sites and organize tools, materials, and equipment - Pull wire, install conduit, and assist with electrical rough-in work - Help install inverters, disconnects, breakers, and other electrical components - Support service panel upgrades and electrical modifications - Assist with troubleshooting and electrical repairs under the supervision of a licensed electrician - Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines - Represent SpartanX professionally while interacting with homeowners * * * ## Qualifications - Previous construction, electrical, or solar experience preferred but not required - Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops - Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Dependable with a strong work ethic - Ability to follow instructions and work safely - **Must be willing and able to travel four (4) days per week** - **Valid driver's license required** - **Clean driving record required** - Ability to pass a background check * * * ## Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience assisting electricians - Residential construction experience - OSHA 10 certification - Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program - Previous residential solar experience * * * ## What We Offer - **$20.00 per hour** - **$50 daily per diem** while traveling - **Eligible hours logged toward your electrical license** (where permitted by state regulations) - Hands-on training with experienced licensed electricians - Opportunities for advancement into Apprentice Electrician, Wireman, and Journeyman Electrician roles - Team-focused culture built on accountability, professionalism, and operational excellence - Opportunity to build a long-term career in the rapidly growing solar industry * * * ## Why SpartanX?
