Electrical Helper/Electrical Apprentice

POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for assisting electricians in installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment by performing the following duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Gathers tools and supplies to be used at the work site. - Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit and motors. - Maintains tools and equipment and keeps supplies and parts in order. - Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment. - Measures, cuts and bends wire and conduit. - Performs other routine duties. - Follows all company policies. - All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (preferred). - Knowledge of all safety rules and regulations. - Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. - Ability to follow verbal instruction. - Ability to safely and properly operate hand and/or power tools.
