Job Summary The Electrical Foreman is a skilled leadership position responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of electrical crews on commercial and industrial projects. Essential Job Responsibilities Test electrical systems using appropriate tools to determine where issues may be occurring. Oversee safety of the system to ensure compatibility. Document actions, testing results, observations, and final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation. Determine necessary steps to assess electrical situations and troubleshoot using testing devices, blueprints, and maps. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements. Report all policy violations, procedures, and guidelines to supervisor. Use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties. Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate or be used safely. Maintain and ensure general housekeeping of work areas. Be able to bend 1/2" to 4″ conduit. Utilize required tools and equipment for each specific task as necessary. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 4 years leading mission critical projects and electrical teams. Develop construction schedules and continually monitor or adjust as needed. Ability to contribute to the installation or be able to direct others through the installation and troubleshooting process. Ability to coordinate manpower needs and lead cross-functional communications. Ability to coordinate or place material orders after competition price comparisons have been completed. Maintain compliance with company, state, and OSHA safety standards. Strong preference for NCCER, NFPA, or OSHA certifications.
