Electrical Engineer - Relay Settings

**Location:** Bryan/College Station, TX (Hybrid Preferred) | Remote Considered**Salary:** $110,000 - $150,000 ### **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and manage relay settings for SEL, GE, ABB, and similar relay platforms. - Perform short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies using CAPE, ASPEN, and ETAP. - Conduct relay misoperation analysis using Wavewin and SEL SynchroWave. - Develop and review NERC PRC compliance reports. - Create relay settings for wide-area coordination and generator projects. - Perform power system studies including load flow, grounding, transformer sizing, and short-circuit analysis. - Apply NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI standards. - Coordinate with project teams and clients to support successful project execution. ### **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred). - 2+ years of relevant experience. - Experience with protective relaying, relay settings, and power system studies. - Ability to read one-line diagrams, control schematics, and wiring diagrams. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to travel up to 10%. **Additional Information:** Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
