Many of our team members are seasoned veterans, with extraordinary technical abilities, interpersonal skills and a history that creates this truly dynamic corporation. ***What You'll Do:*** As an *Electrical Engineer* at Peter Basso Associates, you’ll join project teams working with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across diverse markets - education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You'll apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction. ***What We Are Looking For:*** We're seeking well-rounded professionals with the following abilities. - Engineer and design electrical building systems specifically focused in one or all of these areas. - - **Power Distribution Systems**, including medium and low voltage distribution systems, standby power applications, load calculations, short circuit and coordination studies, arc flash hazard. - **Lighting Systems**, including calculations, lighting controls, luminaire selections and architecturally integrated lighting systems. - **Auxiliary Systems**, including fire alarm systems, voice/data structured cabling systems, access control, CCTV and other low voltage systems design. ***Qualifications:*** - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an engineering-related curriculum from a U.S. accredited college or university. - **Minimum 8-10 years** of experience in electrical commercial building system design. - Passed the Fundamental of Engineering exam or a *PE is preferred.* - Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. - Thorough understanding of the coordination aspects of all design disciplines and impact on the project. - Team-oriented problem-solving skills and decision-making ability. - Detail oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible. - Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills. ***What We Offer:*** - Competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) employer match and ESOP participation) - Generous Paid Time Off plans (PTO) including paid holidays - Hybrid work opportunity with in-office presence required *(T/Th)* - Diverse and exciting project opportunities - Professional development support and career path transparency - A collaborative, employee-owned culture where your voice matters *Peter Basso Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
