You’ll develop electrical designs, produce design documents for construction, and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients, you’ll help deliver thoughtful, high-performing design solutions. This is a collaborative role supporting impactful projects in healthcare and the public sector. What you’ll be responsible for: Developing detailed electrical designs and drawings from concept through construction documents Preparing design drawings, specifications, and supporting documents for engineering projects Supporting building model production and participating in design documentation Conducting site visits to gather data and assess field conditions Ensuring all designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and standards Incorporating sustainable and energy-efficient design practices Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to meet client needs Assisting in the coordination and oversight of sub-consultant activities Troubleshooting technical challenges and contributing to design solutions What we’ll love about you: You have strong time management and organizational skills and are able to provide a consistent level of high-quality work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. You are pursuing your EIT, PE, or RCDD You care about quality, client satisfaction, and delivering thoughtful, innovative solutions You are committed to excellence and demonstrate integrity in all aspects of your work You support a culture of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications) 1+ years of experience or two Co-Op sessions in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other relevant design tools; ability to learn other design software. Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and processes. Understanding of the purpose and content of Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
