Join us. ## Job Description **AECOM** has an opening for an experienced **Electrical Engineer** to be based in **San Diego** **, CA**. The **Electrical Engineer** will join a multidisciplinary, collaborative team with a range of expertise supporting the expansion of their knowledge base with the ability to travel and gain field experience. Job Summary/Responsibilities - Electrical engineering support from conceptual design through construction administration and post-occupancy - Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. - Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. - Support in the review of shop drawings during the construction administration phase - Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids - Write reports and memos for internal and external purposes based on findings - Works cooperatively with managers and other employees to achieve company's mission - Ensures discipline plans that are created meet overall project team requirements for project scope, quality and schedule - Stays current on codes and technologies appropriate to the electrical disciplines - Support on site visits for the purpose of data collection and evaluation of electrical systems, equipment, components and materials for projects - Develops designs within a BIM design environment - Completes assigned engineering and design tasks in accordance with client specified criteria and applicable codes and standards ## Qualifications Minimum Requirements - BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field +4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
