## Description **As an EHS Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company standards and establishing and maintaining continuous improvement processes. This position will include safety inspections, training and providing training to others to ensure safety, and environmental standards are being met and maintained. The EHS Coordinator will be a part of the Safety team and will report to the Q & S Manager.** ## Requirements Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and implementation of health and safety programs, policies and procedures Employee safety training includes new hire orientation, toolbox talks, and all other safety training. Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations, and other applicable laws and regulations. Assist with risk assessments and incident investigations. Evaluate and ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Maintain logs and documentation and prepare HSE reports. Perform facility inspections and monitor compliance with permit conditions. Ensure the updated safety and worker’s compensation posters are posted. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Prior EHS experience required Understanding of OSHA guidelines and other state and local safety regulations. Technical Skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office/Excel. Ability to work independently, but also in a team environment. Professional demeanor with a positive attitude. Ability to learn quickly and maintain records. Work Environment Shop floor environment with a mix of office/clerical work. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs as needed. Must be able to work in a hectic, production driven environment.
