As a Manufacturing Innovation Institute (MII) and part of the Manufacturing USA® network, the ARM Institute team plays a critical, national role in driving the innovations needed to grow US manufacturing. **Position Overview:** The ARM Institute is seeking an organized and detail-oriented **Education and Workforce Development (EWD) Project Assistant** to support the successful delivery of workforce development and economic development initiatives. Reporting to the Director of EWD Programs, this role provides project coordination, administrative support, and program tracking for a portfolio of grant-funded programs that strengthen the U.S. manufacturing workforce. Working closely with internal teams, program partners, educational institutions, funders, and other stakeholders, the EWD Project Assistant coordinates project activities, maintains documentation, tracks program progress, and supports communications to ensure successful execution of workforce development initiatives. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and supporting programs that create meaningful impact within manufacturing and workforce development. Travel of up to 20% may be required to support meetings, training sessions, events, and other business-related activities. **Responsibilities** - Coordinate the planning and execution of workforce development and economic development programs and initiatives. - Serve as a primary point of contact for program partners, sub-awardees, and stakeholders, assisting with onboarding, contracting, documentation, and ongoing communications. - Coordinate meetings, workshops, training sessions, and events, including scheduling, agendas, presentations, meeting materials, and meeting summaries. - Maintain accurate project documentation, records, dashboards, and shared resources to support program operations and compliance requirements. - Collect, organize, and track project data, performance metrics, deliverables, and program outcomes. - Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for leadership, funding agencies, and external stakeholders. - Support communication and collaboration among internal teams, partners, funders, educational institutions, and community organizations. - Maintain project databases, trackers, and website content to ensure information remains accurate, current, and accessible. - Provide logistical and administrative support for educational programming, visitor experiences, workshops, and Learning Lab activities. - Support the administration of ARM's Endorsement Program, including applications, renewals, audits, reporting, and participant communications. - Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that support ARM Institute's workforce development strategy. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Administration, Business, Workforce Development, or a related field required. An associate degree and/or equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree. - Minimum of one year of experience supporting project coordination, program administration, education, workforce development, or a related field. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency with Microsoft Off…
