# Editorial Specialist **Location:** Grapevine, TX (In‑Person) **Schedule:** Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday 7:30a.m. -12:00 pm CST **Reports To:** Content Editorial Manager If you love producing excellent content products that will help people gain deeper, life-changing knowledge of the Word of God, this Editorial Specialist position invites you into a joyful journey to help impact thousands of lives around the globe! The Editorial Specialist focuses primarily on copy editing, formatting, and production of BSF content for print and digital use. This role serves as a vital link between content development and the delivery of delightful, user-friendly products to BSF leaders and members. ## You will have the opportunity to: - Copy edit assigned content for factual accuracy, style, grammar, Global English, and readability within scheduled deadlines using in-house copy editing guidelines and approved style guides and fact-checking resources. - Format content within Word, InDesign/InCopy, and other digital templates for print and digital delivery within scheduled deadlines. Includes English content and some Spanish content. - Manage content through production and post-production processes to create all required outputs. - Collaborate with Content, Translation, and other teams on assigned content. - Assist in any editorial administration needs as assigned. ## We ask that you bring: - Personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with BSF’s Statement of Faith, policies, and values. - Thorough understanding of the Christian faith and its doctrines. - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in print or digital journalism using an Adobe InDesign/InCopy workflow and content management system. - Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, InCopy, and Acrobat as well as Microsoft Word. - Strong copy editing skills and proficiency with grammar usage and style guides for writers/publishers. - Excellent time management to deliver various projects simultaneously and ability to manage shifting workload and multiple deadlines. - Ability to problem-solve and learn detailed job tasks/processes quickly. - Smartsheet, SharePoint, Basecamp, and Adobe Illustrator experience a plus. - Spanish and/or Chinese language skills a plus.
